"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
I won't deny, it has been a while since the last blog update. Since late April I have been slowly shutting down my online activity almost everywhere. Why? It came really naturally - I felt unrestrained need to go and make something in traditional medium only. Just close the door, turn on some classy music and to feel the smell of turpentine, oils and to make my hands dirty (I will write another post on that subject.) Yes, I know - probably it shouldn't have taken two months, but maybe it's my temper or attitude, nonetheless here I am. With new thoughts, new goals and burning motivation. Let me share it with you...
Firstly, I'm gonna write more. Yes, in here. For this purpose I've redesigned my blog a little bit and make it more user-friendly. What will I write about? Everything that bothers artist wannabe (that's me) on his way: doubts, world observation, inspiration, art theory, techniques... etc. And of course I will be posting here my recent work. Expect post a day/two. When there will be none, probably I'm going to write something longer the following day.
Secondly, I found that I was kind of selfish during my journey. What do I mean? When you are experiencing something you are probably making statements in your mind, building your own library of thoughts about certain subject. And that's the value. So I'm going to share with you everything that helps me along the way: tutorials, brushes, tips, useful sites, inspiring galleries - you will find them on the Resources page, which I'm starting to build.
Thirdly, I created few accounts on social sites like twitter, stumbleupon, about.me and redesigned my inspiration site. Check them out :)
Oh, and... during these three months I have been publishing my work only through my facebook. So here is a little catch up with the best pieces:
