| Animal anatomy studies |
Ahhh... That was very exhausting day. Both personally and professionally. Because of that I can't really write more about my traditional media trip. Hope I will find some time tomorrow. But. Studies done in time, so everything is on place. Keep fire burning.
Before I started animal anatomy studies I'd been happy enough to watch great tutorial on animal anatomy from Gnomon Workshop by Marshall Vandruff. Really recommended. I tried to simplify all animals I've drawn into the most basic shapes possible. And to make them really fast. For composition studies I've decided to do something called 'reverse storyboarding' which really speaks for itself. I simply took a screenshot from diffrent movies I enjoy and translated them into very minimalistic drawings. For that purpose you need of course many screenshots. I've updated Resources page with a few websites with dozens of screenshots and animals photos. Check it out and make your own studies!
Cheers!
