New portrait in oils...

So today I've finished my second oil painting ever. I have such hunger for an art instructor! I feel a little bit lost in this medium and all I am doing is big improvisation. But I will try not to give up so quickly. Will find a good read, take bigger brushes, apply more paint and try to improve. If you want get better at painting, do more painting. That's all.

Besides, I am also trying to understand form through series of exercises based on Robertson DVDs. I must say, this is pure gold!
