Alla Prima

Hello there! In the last post I was moaning about not having an art instructor. Well, I think I've found something that will do the job. A book. Or more accurately... The book. Alla Prima: Everything I Know About Painting. Recommended to me by Noah Bradley. It's probably the most amazing, useful and inspiring book on painting that I have ever read (very close to Color And Light by James Gurney). Must read for every painter!

Posting some perspective exercises form Scott's DVDs. A few sketches, and an implementation of 'Alla Prima' knowledge (not yet entirely read) in a single portrait.
